We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains which data is processed when you visit this website and when you send us an enquiry, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

No cookies, no analytics
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, tracking or advertising services. No data is transmitted to social networks.
Your language choice and a kit configuration in progress are stored only locally in your browser (localStorage). This data does not leave your device until you submit an enquiry and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. This storage is technically necessary to display the website as you requested (§ 165 (3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021).
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by: Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (EU standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 GDPR; server logs are kept by the provider for a maximum of 30 days). When you access the website, the provider processes technically necessary connection data on our behalf (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type) to deliver the content securely and to prevent attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.
Contact form and kit request
When you write to us via the contact form or the kit request, we process the data you provide (clinic or practice, contact person, e-mail address, optional phone number, message or kit configuration with kit number) to handle your enquiry and to prepare a possible contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
The forms are transmitted via the form service Formward (Stockholm; data stored in Sweden, EU). The provider forwards the entries by e-mail to our office and stores them in an area accessible to us. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider; the data is stored within the EU.
We keep kit configurations under the kit number so that reorders are possible without re-entering them. You may object to this retention at any time. Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted no later than twelve months after processing is completed; business correspondence is subject to statutory retention periods (generally seven years, § 212 Austrian Commercial Code, § 132 Federal Fiscal Code).
If you contact us by e-mail, your details are stored by us to handle the enquiry and for follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Disclosure to third parties
Your data is only disclosed where this is necessary to fulfil your enquiry (e.g. to our manufacturing partner for packing a kit), to our processors (hosting, form service), or where we are legally obliged to do so.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw any consent given at any time. Please contact office@kalerion.at.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at.
